Our Recruiting Process
Application
You’ll complete an application detailing your professional history, skills, and abilities. We will thoroughly review it and schedule an interview if your qualifications meet our criteria.
Phone Interview
During your phone interview, a member of our recruiting team will assess your communication skills, professionalism, and approach, as well as answer any questions you might have. Please budget 30-45 minutes for our conversation.
Evaluation
We will then schedule an evaluation, during which our team will assess your ability to adhere to our ethics and quality standards. This evaluation consists of three 15-minute trial sessions.
Background Check
We require all applicants to pass a basic criminal background check at no cost to you. This process typically takes a few days to complete.
Complete Onboarding Items
The onboarding process involves reviewing our system guide and ethics code and submitting all necessary paperwork. Once completed, you can create your profile and start receiving calls. Please note that activation timing depends on customer demand.

Yes, we conduct a basic criminal background check for all applicants. Per FCRA guidelines, non-convictions older than 7 years will not be reported. We do not perform credit checks.

Our lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; however, you will be an independent contractor and can create your own schedule. Customer volume tends to be heaviest in the evenings.
We’ll need a clear, updated photo that matches the one on your government-issued ID. Your picture must be unique and used only on your IO Psychics profile and nowhere else. Stock photos will not be accepted; they must be photos of you.

You'll need a stable internet connection, which will be evaluated during the onboarding process. If you live in an area with poor cellular reception, you’ll need a dedicated landline. Please note that we do not allow Google Voice, Skype, Vonage, or other internet-based services, as they are not compatible with our phone system.
